Virtual NSLI-Y will be offered in Fall 2024 (Sept-Nov) and in Winter 2025 (Jan-March). There will be two separate application cycles. Students may only take part in one Virtual NSLI-Y program.

Winter 2025 Key Dates

  • Application opens: September 2024
  • Application deadline: October 22, 2024 at 4:00 PM U.S. Eastern Time (Recommendation due by October 24, 2024 at 11:59 PM U.S. Eastern Time)
  • Notification of status and placement: Late November-early December 2024
  • Pre-program requirements: December 2024-January 2025
  • Program dates: January 13, 2025-March 23, 2025 (exact program start/end dates will vary based on class schedule)
  • Post-program requirements: March 2025
